Start with Why - Book recommendation

This is just a short recommendation, it's great for anyone feeling they need a little help and motivation to discover their purpose and calling. Simon Sinek delivered one of most popular TED Talks ever, it is titled “How Great Leaders Inspire Action”. The follow up book Start With Why is an awesome and highly enlightening read. It's got a very clear message about the power of knowing your purpose, and how to articulate a genuine passion that can inspire others to change the world.
There's a lot in the TED Talk that is worth seeing... Simon Sinek´s Start With Why `how great leaders inspire action´ presentation is what started it all for me. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly recommend that you spend a few minutes watching it.
The Start with Why book is truly inspirational. It is something that can promote motivation and personal development. Simon´s own purpose must be one of inspiration to the masses. His main message in this book is about the WHAT, HOW and WHY and the order that we place focus on. I have loaned this book out to two friends, and it is currently on loan to a third. The next time I recommend it I am just going to offer this blog post as a link so people can get their own :)

Find Your Why is an instructional guide book to discovering your purpose. You need to have read Start With Why to fully understand the reasoning. I brought it and followed the instructions. It's a relatively short book, nicely laid out and clear to read. Finding a partner to assist was the issue I had with this. The one I selected seemed to know me too well and already had her own ideas on my why from her experiences with me, so that part of the process is flawed. I could see the benefit of the process, but partner selection is difficult. I was so keen to discover my why that I opted to use the authors company and organised an online meeting where they helped me find my why.

Leaders Eat Last currently sits on my desk, I have not yet managed to get around to reading it. But I will. If you have an opinion on it, send me it in a message.
