Here are the top 10 reasons why I think you should NOT learn Krav Maga. This is different to my other page stating the Top 10 Reasons why you SHOULD.

1. It´ll never happen to you, right?
Violent attacks are so rare. They never happen to you to to people you know. Why waste time learning something that you will probably never need? It doesn't make sense. If it did happen to you, you could just come to a class or two after, so it wont happen again.
2. You train in a better style than Krav Ma-whatever.
You train in a better self defence style than Krav Maga. You do Karate? Taekwondo? Aikido?... These systems have been around for hundreds of years, have been perfected over time. There´s nothing modern Krav Maga has that these systems haven't done years ago. Honestly, it is ridiculous that over 500 of the worlds military and law enforcement units use Krav Maga.
3. You already have confidence
Attackers prey on the weak. You project confidence, that´s enough. You should be pretty sure that´s all you need to stay out of a mugging.
4. You already workout
You can bench press over 100kg and you have visible abs, who´s going to be crazy enough to mess with you?!
5. You don't have time
1 or 2 hours a week is way to much time to devote to something like Krav Maga that´ll totally improve your life. It´s far better to assign that time to a couple of episodes of the same old sit-com re-runs you've seen over and over and over again.
6. You can't afford it
The cost of Krav Maga classes is around 500kr PER MONTH in Stavanger. That´s the same cost as nightclub entry and 2 beers... Or a taxi ride from the town to the airport... or a weekly coffee in Starbucks!
7. It looks too hard
You´ve seen the moves in the Taken movies! No way can you do that.
8. You´re not in the army
Krav Maga is only for those military units and law enforcement personnel... you know, the ones who deal with violence. It´s not applicable to you.
9. You´re a person of peace
Learning to fight means you might one day hurt someone... Being a person of peace, and using that philosophy of "Do unto others..." means that you only attract like minded people who will never hurt you.
10. You´re not in shape
Krav Maga practitioners are in shape, you are not!
