As you are interested in joining us, the first thing you need to do is:
Download the Spond app and make contact!
Spond is a great app designed for teams as a way of keeping training details, events, social, polls, payments and contact all in one place. It is better than using a social media group, and far more efficient for instructors and students to use.
Once you are connected with us on there... message me and we'll get you involved.

The style:
Krav Maga is a realistic self defence system. There is strong focus on practical and effective techniques and these are reinforced with carefully building a high level of physical and mental strength. The syllabus is logically structured and continuously refined and improved to include modern training methods and trends in street violence.
What does it cost?
There is no monthly fee and no contracts. The club uses a PAY AS YOU TRAIN philosophy. Meaning that members can train for a few weeks or months then take a break and return to us later. Life happens, but the door is always open at the club for members to come as they wish.
- The training fee is 168krto 200kr per class
- Personal training is available at 819kr a session
Full details on our Schedule & Location:
Over the years we have trained using various locations in and around Stavanger and Sandnes, our favourite has using the kommune´s facilities for public training activities. This has both benefits and drawbacks, the biggest issue is that we are subject to their schedule, when they closed or are being used for other events (such as elections or sporting competitions) we have to temporarily move or postpone training. On the benefits side, we get a large and safe venue with great facilities.
A full schedule for the months ahead will published on the link below and well as map and address details... (Currently under construction)

What to bring to your first class?
You don't need any special kit to begin training in Krav Maga with us. Wear comfortable gym style clothing and bring a bottle of water. Eventually you may be interested in wearing grabbling or MMA style of training kit, although it's not strictly necessary. You will need to get a few items for safety and comfort in training (gloves and protective equipment). But Krav Maga is not an expensive hobby.
Is it possible to learn Krav Maga online:
I admit it, I was skeptical to this idea originally. With Krav Maga being the ultimate form of street-ready self defence, totally bases in reality, learning virtually seamed like a scam or gimmick. But I have had success with it, managing to communicate and train with people across Europe. I started in 2016 with a client using Skype. The covid-19 pandemic meant regular class students opted for the online version too.
The instructor:
Benjamin: "I am a qualified Bodyguard with the British SIA and I am professionally certified to teach the Krav Maga system. I have a wide breadth of experience in the security and training industry. I started teaching basic self defence courses in 2011 and then founded The Krav Maga Club of Stavanger and Sandnes soon after."
The students:
I teach a variety of students with a range of backgrounds. You don't need any experience to start training in Krav Maga, simply have a happy attitude and an open mind.
Social Media:
The club uses several platforms of social media so you can see what we are up to with our regular updates including photos, videos, class reviews and social activities. But most important is the SPOND APP, this is the hub of our connectivity to each other.
When to come?
I run the classes in a unique way so that new beginners can be integrated at any time during the season. But to make things even easier, the first class of the month is always core skills and basic training. Around 4-6 times a year there are small campaigns and intro classes to recruit new members.
Read what the other students have to say:
Over the years I have saved the letters and emails I have received thanking me for the training I have given. Some of them are truly heartwarming and inspirational, I will keep them forever. You are welcome to come to the club and ask my students what they think of the training. Some of the reviews I have received are copied to the testimonials page.
