When I decided to go for my instructor certification I did my research... I could have had KMW, IKMF, KMG... there was quite a list of reputable organisations, each with their merits. I chose the British Krav Maga Association because they had 2 key points that made them stand out... Firstly, quality. I saw that they had quite a low pass rate. This means that those not worthy got weeded out. This was not a "pay for you certification", with BKMA you had to earn it. I believe that most of the organisations are placing under skilled practitioner into instructor roles, and I wanted to avoid being one of these. Secondly, it included recognised and official teaching qualifications, not just a printed out logo on a certificate.
