Hey fellow instructors!!

At the end of this message I will ask if you want my Online Group Training leads… but please read though the content first.

I thought this message would be a little long for a direct Facebook post, so I wrote it out as a webpage on this site which is where I want you to be…

I have been teaching online since 2013. Claiming the domain name Krav-Maga-Online nice and early. I started when a female prospect said she saw my advertising but was afraid to sign up and enter the gym with my crew. She had anxieties and a rough story. My solution was to train her using Skype. There were days when we would mirror 360 and counters, and there were days when she had researched and had questions, so we would discuss theories and the psychology. Although I took the website domain, I never advertised it as a real option until 2020. I saw the hypocrisy in barking about realism and simultaneously being a distant instructor and teaching via imagination. But times have changed, and I am pushing further to challenge the status quo of how training is delivered. Until now I have tended to use this site as way of funnelling traffic to my club website, clocking up the hits to dominate the google ranking over my local competition, it worked a treat. Only remotely training clients by necessity to their circumstances.

I’m sure you know, there has been a niche for online training for sometime. The most popular online delivery is pre-made videos, instructors and organisations going for the passive income approach, and is little different to selling a DVD. I have been contacted with offers to purchase my domain several times over the years. But I have been stubborn, and held out because there is an obvious potential in this area and my domain name is spot on.

Here's what I do:

My online focus is one-to-one, and I don’t want that to change. It’s my niche, I dominate and I am comfortable there.
I have aimed my classes at 3 levels:
1: To give beginners a foundation
2: Maintain fitness and skill levels for those who cannot get to a traditional club to train
3: Prep more experienced for courses.

I rarely have mid-level students… these are people who tend to need the pads, contact, drills and pressure. I recognise that the current pandemic situation does require some flexibility in how we deliver training, this is more necessary for some more than others. Importantly, I still do not do regular online group classes. In Norway lockdown was brief. I am happy with the club I have and the assistance I can provide online to those who need it within my chosen niche. I added mentoring as an extra service and things are absolutely fine for me like that. Where I live the Covid-19 response here was early and excellent. We still have some restrictions. Gyms and sports are one of the hardest hit, but we are able to train in small groups inside and larger groups outside. Therefore online group classes are not really necessary for me and my team. I am happy to stick with what I have.

I had to unpublished this Krav-Maga-Online site earlier this year to re-work it, I was getting too many inquiries about online group training… and as you might have predicted, more emails for offering to purchase the domain have come.  And although the pages on the site clearly stated I taught only in one-to-one sessions… people kept asking “when are my classes?”, “how much are my group sessions?”… This was annoyingly daily. In my mind when the title section on the homepage says “I only offer one-to-one training, and there’s a waiting list, so please be patient”, I don’t feel the need to spend time spoon feeding explanation responses. But I was wrong, snappy messages started. So I shut it down for a re-build, and temporarily redirected the domain to my club site while I had a think.

My decision is the same, I still do not want to do online group sessions. For me it is not necessary.

But, there is a requirement and the prospects my page generates have to go somewhere…

And so my question is, do you want them?

I decided to advertise for any qualified Krav Maga instructor offering online group sessions, regardless of affiliation.

I also have the facebook page Krav Maga Online which has 13,800+ genuine followers, that will begin to see fresh campaign ads.
If you are interested in teaching online groups, do it. And if you have already started and want the chance to add new members to your ranks, I'm happy to send people your way.

Fill out the form before, I´ll be in touch for a few more details and we can get the leads from this site filtered to you.

Best wishes and kind regards,
Benjamin
