First day and try out period...To start with you don't need any special kit. The Krav Maga instructor will advice you on the clothing and footwear recommendations and rules, some places say no shoes on mats, or only indoor shoes in the gym. It depends on the location and instructor.
But most of the time it's pretty easy to fulfil the requirements, but I do recommend bringing a sweat towel and bottle of water in addition. What you don't need, is the complete gage fighting kit. Ease yourself into the style, there's no need to purchase the full $200-500 complete set of gear. You don't need it all at once, purchase a little bit over time, spread it out and enjoy the research and buying process:

What you definitely shouldn't buy! There is some kit out there, or items available that is just wrong. It's either wasteful or dangerous to train with, for example real weapons. Just don't. Don't be that muppet... even posing with it for pretend social media gives the wrong impression. Sharpe blades and live firearms are simple not acceptable in a training environment.

Cheap and poor quality
You may be on a budget, or you may be skeptical about investing in kit too early. But if you buy cheap gloves, you will punch a heavybag three times and then split the "leather" over the knuckle. Cheap gloves use a cheap foam padding and a PVC plastic coating that breaks so easily. Krav is a high contact game, high power and high intensity. If you buy a cheap pair you'll have to buy another by the end of the month, even as a beginner. Save time from the outset and get yourself a good quality pair. You are at a Krav Maga class for a reason, that is to learn to strike. If you don't like Krav, you can still take your new gloves to another class such as MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing. So ask around in the club you're attending, you can easily get a glove recommendation. For me, the Hayabusa brand has made some real quality stuff, and I like to use their MMA and boxing gear. However, I was disappointed with their large kit bag. The size suggested it could hold a lot, but the mesh (ventilation) material ripped after a couple of months.
To make it easy, I listed it all on Amazon
